Camp Overview

Foundations of Model UN: Fast-Track Camp is a dynamic 4-day learning experience designed to prepare students for their first MUN conference through interactive training, simulations, and hands-on practice. Through speech coaching, caucus activities, and a beginner-friendly Mock MUN, students build confidence in public speaking, research, diplomacy, and committee participation.

In this 4-day immersive experience, campers will learn how to:

  • Understand the structure and function of the United Nations and its key bodies
  • Represent a country’s foreign policy position accurately and strategically
  • Conduct credible research using UN documents and reliable global sources
  • Write clear and structured position papers
  • Deliver formal opening speeches with confidence and clarity
  • Apply basic Rules of Procedure in a committee setting
  • Negotiate, form alliances, and collaborate during caucus sessions
  • Draft coherent and realistic resolutions
  • Participate in a structured Mock MUN simulation
