The Global Citizen Education Group proudly presents the HUGEM Innovation Challenge – Philippines II 2026, a two-day conference centered on Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Development. The program marks the next evolution of the HWIL Philippines II, transitioning the initiative toward a stronger focus on STEM-driven innovation and entrepreneurship.

Under the theme “Blueprints for Resilient Communities”, HIC Philippines II explores how technology and innovation can support sustainable economic growth and future-ready infrastructure in the Philippines.

Hosted in Manila and Davao, the conference brings together middle and high school students from across the country to engage in interactive workshops, collaborative innovation challenges, and mentorship from professionals in technology and social enterprise. Participants will develop skills in problem-solving, systems thinking, and innovation design, while learning how science, engineering, and digital technologies can be applied to real-world challenges such as sustainable infrastructure, digital transformation, and inclusive economic opportunities.
